The Dance Academy is delighted to present its bi-annual charity performances of one of the first comic ballet classics, Coppelia. Pupils from The Bray and Mount Merrion centres combine for these performances. Coppelia, a mechanical doll made by Dr Coppelius, is so life-like that some believe she is his daughter. The mistake leads to intrigue and jealousy in love. The Dance Academy is also very proud to showcase its first Modern Theatre Dance production in nearly two decades, with a short medley sure to excite and enthral.
