Miller’s Crossing (Cert: 18)

Sat 19 Aug 2017

Made 27 years ago the Coen Brothers were not yet the Oscar winning, cinephile-worshipped filmmaking legends they are today. It’s time to see this intricate gangster drama on the big screen and with an introduction from Wicklow Film maker and lecturer Noel MacAoidh. Come join us and learn some interesting tit-bits (the brothers turned down batman to make this film and Gabrielle Byrne had to convince them to let him keep his Irish accent!) and witness together the point at which the Coen Brothers proved themselves the true cinematic chameleons we know them as today.
