The Teetotallers comprises three exceptional musicians. Martin Hayes is regarded as one of the most extraordinary talents to emerge in the world of Irish traditional music. Kevin Crawford was propelled to international recognition as outstanding flute, whistle and bodhrán player with Lúnasa. Founding member of the highly touted Irish-American band Solas, John Doyle is celebrated for his compelling vocals, expert bouzouki and mandola playing, and innovative guitar style blending rhythm and percussion to create a unique, irresistible sound.
His unique sound, his mastery of his chosen instrument – the fiddle - his acknowledgement of the past and his shaping of the future of the music, combine to create an astonishing and formidable artistic intelligence.
