Trouble the Water

Sun 19 - 23 Feb

Film

A group of documentary filmmakers arrive in New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Their plan is to make a documentary about this aftermath but almost upon arrival they meet Kimberly Roberts who shot amateur footage of the flood as it happened. Kimberly’s incredible footage takes us right inside the eye of the storm in a way we never thought possible. This is documentary filmmaking at its most personal, most humanistic and most life-affirming, you will be moved.
