Please note that due circumstances beyond the control of the Bray Jazz Festival this show has now been cancelled. 

They've been described as 'The Polish Pogues' and as one of the most important bands in world music - and Warsaw Village Band (WVB) can make a justifiable claim to being one of the most exciting live bands touring today.

Established more than a decade ago, this three-women,three-men sextet play a unique hybrid folk that is fast and furious, and has thrilled audiences from Japan to Alaska, Paris to Portugal and Moscow to Taiwan in a career that has seen them collect numerous accolades including Poland's own Grammy 'Frederic Award'.

Presenters and hosts of the BBC World Music Awards a number of years ago, Warsaw Village Band make intelligent, entertaining, and energetic Eastern European music that combines traditions with modern elements, and has won fans amongst rock, jazz and traditional music enthusiasts alike.
