A Celebration of the Blues does exactly what it says on the tin. It is paying homage to the grandfather of modern music, The Blues, and the many talented artists who contributed to it.
It will be delivered by Rock/Blues legend Rob Strong and his band who’s career has spanned over 60 years. From his early years in the show band era right up to present day Rob has thrilled and delighted audiences both here and Internationally. It promises to be an evening of nostalgia, rocking blues classics wrapped up in the dulcet tones of the Godfather of Irish Soul himself.
Warming up the evening will be Midnight Muse who will get the party started with their own brand of high energy electric blues. With classics by Robert Lee Johnson, Howling Wolf, Coco Taylor and Peggy Lee to name but a few.
