Chronically Hopeful
Musici Ireland presents a work-in-progress performance of Chronically Hopeful, a powerful exploration of the profound impact of unseen disabilities. This 60-minute immersive experience combines live music, contemporary dance, and theatre to authentically portray the hidden challenges faced by individuals with invisible disabilities. The performance also aims to highlight the economic inequalities in healthcare and access, shedding light on the systemic issues that affect those living with such conditions.
Featuring an extraordinary team of artists, including Libby Croad (composer), Eleanor Walsh (actor), Jane Hackett, Ioana Petcu Colan, Beth McNinch, and Katie Tertell (musicians), Trudie Gorman (text), Ali Clarke (choreography) and Safire Hikari (dancer). Directed by Beth McNinch, Chronically Hopeful delves into the resilience, struggles, and triumphs of those living in a world that often makes them feel invisible.
As this is a work-in-progress, we welcome audience feedback to help shape and refine the performance. Join us for this thought-provoking experience and be part of the conversation that drives change.
