 Founder member of ‘The Bad Plus,’ the innovative trio renowned for their freewheeling originals and masterful deconstruction of rock and pop tunes, Ethan Iverson signed to Blue Note records in 2022, and released a masterful debut ‘Every Note is True’ on the legendary label that year. Just last month he released his second Blue Note recording, ‘Technically Acceptable,’ which includes a set of striking new originals together with interpretations of Roberta Flack’s ‘Killing Me Softly” and Thelonious Monk’s “’Round Midnight.”

A former student of piano master Fred Hersch, Iverson has lent his considerable talents to projects with Billy Hart, Dewey Redman, Charlie Hayden and Kurt Rosenwinkel amongst others.
