One Fine Morning
Léa Seydoux plays Sandra – a young, widowed mother who juggles her job as a translator with caring both for her young daughter and ailing elderly father (Pascal Gregory). As her father’s condition dramatically deteriorates, Sandra and her family fight to access the care he requires.
Struggling to balance the emotional needs of her parents, her child, and herself, Sandra unexpectantly reconnects with an old friend, Clément (Melvil Poupaud), and although he’s married, their friendship soon blossoms into a passionate affair.
Mia Hansen-Løve (Bergman Island) romantic drama, is a deceptively simple film of great beauty and quiet power. Weaving a heartfelt story of familial and romantic relationships, Hansen-Løve’s poignant drama is a profoundly moving portrayal of love and loss.
