Making Waves
Bookings through box office: 01 272 4030
An immersive multi-sensory dance theatre production designed specifically for children aged 8 to 13 years with mild to more complex needs.
A magical sea voyage in which the audience and performers set sail in search of hidden treasure. Along the way they encounter rolling waves, sparkling fish and swooping gulls. The audience is seated in 4 pods representing boats on stage in close proximity to the performers. This design enables interaction for everyone as they are swept along on the adventure.
(The audience is greeted by the performers in the theatre foyer, invited into the performance space and guided to their seats in the boats. These pods are suitable for wheelchair users).
School Package:
1. Jess Rowell and performers will deliver sensory movement workshops for children and teachers offsite in local special schools.
2. Participating schools will receive a teachers resource pack as a stimulus and guide for further creative movement sessions exploring the different themes within the show.
