Thy Harp Strung With Apollos Golden Hair

A very special concert of music & poetry to celebrate the ongoing return of live concerts. This concert features some of Ireland’s most respected musicians in Traditional, Early Music, and Classical genres, in addition to the award-wining poet, Jane Clarke. Music on the night will be the beautiful and haunting tunes of Irish Harpers from the 17th and 18th centuries – taken from original sources and played on historical and modern instruments - Early Irish Harp, Lute, Bandora, Viol da Gamba, Guitars, Susato Whistle. Recreating the historic sound world of the Irish Baroque era and blending it sensitively with Traditional instruments.
