Wicklow County Council Arts Office

Artists Information Clinic

Wicklow County Arts Office invites artists of all disciplines to an Information Clinic on Funding to advise and support artists about the practicalities and requirements of making quality funding applications both locally and in competing for funding nationally

The Arts Office aims to create an environment in which artists across disciplines have the freedom to make work of ambition and annually offers two core strands of funding, the Artist Support and Strategic Projects Schemes. In advance of the deadlines for both schemes (27/02/2020 @ 12 noon) prospective applicants are invited to attend this clinic where the Arts Officer and other artists will discuss the awards, share advice and tips and answer your questions.

In addition Arts Consultant, Helen Meany, will share her extensive experience of assessing individual artists awards for the Arts Council and other funders. The Clinic will be facilitated by Susan Coughlan, Consultant and Coach and will be followed by a chance to talk further with peers at the end.

If you are booking in and interested in applying for Arts Office funding in 2020, you should in advance download the Application Forms and Guidelines from www.wicklow.ie and consider how you might create your application and articulate your creative ambition for 2020. This will help identify relevant questions on the day for the panel so that you can maximise the experience.
