Mermaid Transition Year Work Experience

At Mermaid we are keen to support young people and are delighted to offer a number of work experience placements for Transition Year students for the academic year 2022/2023 as a channel for young people from all backgrounds to find a career in the arts.

We are looking for individuals with a strong interest in the arts. With access to every team, students can observe the centre’s staff at work. Where possible, students also have an opportunity to watch a show or performance from behind the scenes.

In order to apply please fill in the form below which asks you to tell us a little of yourself and why you would like to complete your work experience with us.

Deadline for applications is Friday 30th September at 5pm.

Selected students will be notified by Friday 14th October.

Mermaid will then work with the students to agree the work experience dates.
