Pure Bray - Tea & Tales (3pm)

Join Bray storyteller and story collector Philip Byrne for a relaxed afternoon of local stories as he takes us on a trip down memory lane.

Everyone has memories of times past, the way we lived, worked and played. Times may have been harder but the memories linger on. These are the memories of ordinary people who have lived ordinary lives. These memories will be lost unless we keep them alive. 

At the special afternoon event in the Little Flower Hall Philip invites us to pull up a chair, share a cup of tea together and walk down memory lane with him.

"Pure Bray" is part of a wider project Philip is working on, commenced during his time as Storyteller in Residence with Mermaid in 2023. Through this, Philip continues to gather a wealth of memories and stories from local people to share and safeguard for future generations.
