The Jesus Trilogy by J.M. Coetzee
“It may seem heartless to say, but most people, by the time they get here, have washed themselves clean of old ties. I recommend that you do the same.”
A man steps off a boat with a child onto a new land. He is given the name ‘Simon’ and the age of ‘55’. His first mission is to find the lost boy's mother. But how can he recognise someone he’s never met?
An epic adaptation of Nobel Prize laureate J.M. Coetzee’s novels, The Jesus Trilogy is a moving saga exploring the legacy of memory, the nature of passion, and dance.
