YARN Residency 2026 – La Maison du Conte

We are delighted to announce Sinéad McAleavey as the oral storyteller in residence as part of the 2026 YARN Storytelling Festival in partnership with La Maison du Conte.

As part of the residency, Sinéad will travel to La Maison du Conte in November 2026 to begin developing a new work inspired by the rich mythology of the Táin Bó Cúalnge and the Ulster Cycle, with a particular focus on the stories of Macha and Brigid.

Congratulations Sinéad – we look forward to working together!
