James Morris

BUTABU: Adobe Architecture of West Africa

Welsh artist James Morris exhibited in Ireland for the first time following his travels through West Africa where he captured spectacular images of the extraordinary mud architecture, which is surprisingly little known. The images he produced are evidence of the sophisticated creativity at work in these buildings, shaped by local architects into vibrant works of art.

“The British Photographer James Morris easily takes the palm for the year’s most haunting architectural images.” New York Times.
