Anna Newell makes extraordinary pieces for children. Bray based, internationally acclaimed director Anna embarked on a new show, collaborating with Scottish Composer David Goodall, called BigKidLittleKid. This piece for early years (ages 2 to 5) and their adults. It’s for an age-group who may well have been the youngest in the family who find themselves with a younger sibling; who might have been the oldest in the nursery and are now the youngest at school. Anna created a brand-new children’s’ theatre piece ‘BigKidlittleKid’ here at Mermaid over 4 days. It was co-commissioned by Pavilion Theatre Dun Laoghaire and Mermaid Arts Centre.
