Gap Day Artists 2024

We are delighted to introduce the artists chosen for Gap Day 2024!

These freelance theatre-makers have been selected to take part in Gap Day, an initiative by Lian Bell in collaboration with Mermaid Arts Centre.

This programme gives independent artists across the island of Ireland the chance to get the support of time and space to think and plan their future projects.
The participants will be paid for their time and hosted by over 40 venues, arts centres and cultural organisations local to them.

Lunch, as well as access to monthly drop-in online gatherings, one-to-one coaching and more are all available to our Gap Day participants.
