HYPERACTIVE

HYPERACTIVE is a high-energy human dance installation for five virtuosic outstanding male dancers with wild street energy - dancing styles from Broadway to Jazz to Afro-Brazilian. Athletic, high-energy, funny and exciting, the dancers dive into relentless, physically demanding routines that leaves them visibly exhausted, adding a sense of raw, vulnerable honesty to the stage. It functions as a "sugar rush" of dance energy that seamlessly translates the raw electricity of street dance into a highly conceptual theatrical setting. 

HYPERACTIVE shows a snapshot of contemporary Irish masculinity. Incredibly dynamic, stretching horseplay and dance to the limit and suitable for all, commissioned by Galway International Arts Festival and Dublin Dance Festival, touring internationally to Festival Racconti di Altre Danze, Italy, Espace Culturel Hermine, France and La MaMa Moves Dance Festival, New York.
