Sinéad O'Brien (Ireland)

No One is Coming

Fresh from it’s award winning Off-Broadway debut (winner of Origin’s 1st Irish 2025 BEST PLAY award) "No One is Coming" mixes epic Irish myth with heartrending personal stories.

"Acclaimed storyteller" (The Scotsman) Sinéad O'Brien, weaves myth and mammy issues, warrior heroes and weekends with Dad, to bring you on a rollercoaster experience inside a hilarious (if ever so slightly traumatised) Irish woman’s brain.

Growing up with mental health & addiction issues in the home, Sinéad likes to think she is amazingly well adjusted all things considered. A real Daddy’s girl, her father was her hero. Mam is scary, Dad’s the fun one. But as she grows up she is forced to face some hard truths & re-examine the stories we tell ourselves. "A love letter to my mother that I'll never send". A gut punching dark comedy of mythical proportions about a whole family who are away with the fairies.
