The Hammonds - Songs of love and folk

The Hammonds are a musical family from Bray Co .Wicklow, consisting of siblings Suzanne,Karen and Aoife, and their dad Ray.

They grew up listening to everything from Planxty and Clannad to Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell and are influenced heavily from their dads singing and playing guitar since they can remember.

They are individual musicians in their own right, with numerous solo projects, collaborations and bands, including punk, trad, electronic and drum and bass influences but always come back to their roots to sing harmonies together to the songs they grew up listening to.

Expect a cosy evening focused on the siblings weaving their haunting harmonies through Leonard Cohen's varied songbook, Irish folk songs and some festive surprises! The Hammonds are delighted to be back playing in the town they love so well.
