Creative Gathering
Mermaid Arts Centre hosted one creative gatherings in 2017. The informal gathering was for Wicklow artists to come together, meet, talk and share. Each artist talked about who they are, where they work and give a brief outline of a new project or work that they’re involved in. The ambition of these gatherings is to create connections amongst a range of people with a stake in the arts in Wicklow. It is also hoped it might become an informal network (beyond the standard, talking shop model). The first gathering was on Thursday 9th February, Mermaid aims to host one per season in 2018.
