Welcome back to Mermaid

Mermaid County Wicklow Arts Centre is delighted to announce we are OPEN!

We have slowly over the past six weeks re-entered the building. We have run safety checks on all equipment and services. We’ve completed a deep clean with sanitising stations throughout the building. Our intensive cleaning protocols, sneeze guards, capacity limits, direction signage and staff training is complete. All of this in order to be sure we welcome our artists, audiences and team back in a safe way. WE HAVE MISSED YOU ALL.

Betelnut Cafe is open with great coffee and food. We’ve opened our gallery with Susan Montgomery which will continue until Saturday 1st August, Monday – Saturday 11am – 5pm. Next up is Sinéad Ní Mhaonaigh opening to the public on Friday 14th August. We have artists in the rehearsal room and in the theatre making new work. We are so busy we had to have our staff meeting outside!

In September we will start to programme some small and exciting theatre, music and comedy events. Stay in touch so you can see the treats we have in store for you
